To Query Spec to Select a Different Record

When placing a component from a spec, if there is more than one record in the specification, the Spec Record Selection dialog displays where you can select the desired component record to place. If the user needs to change to a different record at a later date, the Query Spec options allows this.

Right-click on a component in the drawing. If the specification has more than one record which matches the selected component, the Query Spec option displays in the pop up menu.
Select the Query Spec option to display the Spec Record Selection dialog.
Note: To view the actual spec query for the component records, click on a record and click the Query Info link on the bottom right of the dialog.
Select a new spec record from the dialog and click OK to replace the component record in the drawing. The change can be verified in the Element Info dialog.
